Sculptural texture, a deep black base and warm gold highlights give this stairwell its distinctive character.

Location: Klang
Product: Vellcco
Colour: Custom Black
Finishing: Gold Wax

A tall staircase wall becomes the focal point of this Klang project, finished in MacoAvell Vellcco in Custom Black with Gold Wax. Extending from the lower landing towards the ceiling, the textured surface brings depth and a strong visual presence to the stairwell.

Gold highlights follow the irregular relief, revealing a layered pattern against the dark base. From a distance, the finish has an aged-metal character; up close, its raised details and varied texture become more apparent. In the lighting shown, the gold takes on warm bronze tones, with darker areas adding definition across the surface.

Pendant lights draw the eye upwards and emphasise the height of the wall. Off-white surrounding walls provide a quiet frame, while the dark staircase handrail connects visually with the deeper tones of the finish.

The result is an expressive feature wall that gives the staircase a distinctive identity. This Klang reference shows how Vellcco texture and a gold wax finish work together through depth, contrast and light.
