Which Textures Work Best for Feature Walls?

Choose a feature-wall texture by the mood and lighting you want: matte Vellplas, polished Vellma, textured Vellcco or a metallic Vellwax treatment over a compatible base.

Which Textures Work Best for Feature Walls?

Matte and cloudy: Vellplas

Choose Vellplas when the intention is a fine, matte Marmorino surface. Its subdued movement can work as a backdrop to timber, soft furnishings and a restrained interior palette. Review the amount of variation on a physical sample.

Polished and marble-inspired: Vellma

Vellma provides the polished direction within the range. Consider it where reflected light and a more expressive mineral appearance support the design. Agree both the movement and sheen rather than selecting from a colour name alone.

More pronounced texture: Vellcco

Vellcco can be used for stucco and stone-inspired effects. It offers a different visual character from a fine matte wall. Review how the intended relief meets corners, joinery and lighting before approving it.

Metallic highlights: Vellwax Metallic

A metallic final treatment can emphasise the pattern of a compatible decorative base. Its effect changes with the light and viewing angle, so compare a finished sample under the intended lighting.

Match the wall to the room

A living-room backdrop may need less movement than a reception feature. Consider wall size, furniture, existing patterns and cleaning access. Strong texture on one chosen wall can be enough to establish the room’s character.

Approve the complete sample

Record the product, colour, application pattern and final treatment. For a quotation, provide wall dimensions, substrate condition, location and any access requirements.
